I am hearing that Meier is 90% NOT returning to San Jose, and teams are very interested,,.The Devils are leading the way on this one...Buffalo, The Islanders, and the Blues are also teams to look out for. Meier could be the biggest sleeper of this season's deadline..
On Patrick Kane...
Kane holds alot of power on this one and could essentially force the team he is moved to...however, some close to him feel he won't do that...Martin St Louis was in a similar situation years back when the Lightning moved him to where he wanted to go...the Rangers...Kane would obviously also love to play in MSG...
On Jonathan Toews...
Toews also has say as to where he lands, and the belief is growing he may want to return home to Winnipeg. What an amazing story and fit that would be!
On Horvat...
There has been some movement towards Horvat extending in Vancouver....Can they make that work? It would seem close to impossible, but if both sides want it badly enough is is possible Horvat signs for a little less short term under the promise of a bigger deal when the cap increases...
On Chychrun...
The Islanders and Toronto are the two teams I have heard the most when asking around...Ottawa, Florida and Philly are also both still keeping tabs..
