Some bad news as Flyers camp opens up. Today team GM Chuck Fletcher announced that it is likely that Ryan Ellis will miss the entire season as he recovers from his injury…Also, team leader, and potential captain, Couturier will be out “week to week.”
There is some real reason for concern in both cases as the Flyers are already starting off with more questions than answers. The Couturier injury could determine whether or not veteran, Anisomov, in camp on a PTO, can land a spot with the team.
