The Capitals have made a change behind the bench, firing Todd Reirden after two years as Washington's head coach.
Reirden, who served as the team's associate coach when they won the Stanley Cup in 2018, went 89-46-16 during this two-year run as the team’s bench boss, but failed to advance beyond the first round in both seasons.
