What Should Sabres Do With Okposo? Sabres interested in Hellebuyck(e4) |

One of the more interesting players I’m tracking is Kyle Okposo. He’s been quite the warrior for the Sabres and his experience has been invaluable. He’s also one of those guys the coaches can get to help get the younger players in his corner. It feels like he’s going to stay with Buffalo, but there’s a lot of interest in him and the Sabres are going to be spending a lot of money in different ways.
For example I am adding Connor Hellebuyck to the Rumor chart later today. The Sabres have a deep interest in him. The Jets appear ready to move in a different direction and cut up their core a little bit.
He makes good money but he also is a top goal who can steal your games. There’s no question that if the Sabres had Connor Hellebuyck in net for them this year they would’ve been a playoff team. And as we seen from Florida all you have to do is get in to the dance and then anything can happen.
In your opinion, how much did the Buffalo Sabres spend to keep Kyle Okposo? Is he part of the future of this organization? Have they gotten all they need to get out of him? Is it time for them to transition forward or keep him for continuity?
