Will Connor Bedard be BETTER than Connor McDavid? Mon's Buzz

Hey, hockey world! It is great to be back from the family vacation and dropping right into the homestretch…

We start today with a question.

Last night 16-year-old sensation Connor Bedard scored his 50 and 51st goal including 3 assists to end his season with the Regina Pats of the WHL. Those 5 points help Bedard to reach 100 points and become the youngest player in WHL HISTORY to hit the century mark.

It’s an incredible accomplishment, but just the beginning of what will be an incredible career for the player all are considering “the Next One.” Connor is still a year away from being NHL draft-eligible and is likely to have another year in Canadian Juniors….that is unless he follows the Auston Matthews path off going pro for a year in Europe top push himself, having already shown he is too good for the WHL.

Is he going to be better than Connor McDavid?

McDavid in his 16th year at Erie had 99 points in the OHL, but only 28 goals. McDavid decided to stay in Juniors and the following season he returned to the Otters to score 44 goals and 120 points.

What should Bedard do?

Do you think he will now better than McDavid?
