It's Sunday and I am focused on finishing up the Rumor Chart, but this question came up in our podcast and I like it for one reason. EVERYONE hates it. Toronto fans hate it. Flyers fan say Fletcher should be forced to resign if he were to make this deal.

First off, understand that this is NOT a rumor...I will have a rumor about Mitch Marner at the end of this story. This is just a discussion.

At the end of the day, the deal may actually make sense. Would You...Trade Mitch Marner for Provorov and Konecny?

Marner's Deal is going to be huge this summer and will give Toronto three forwards over 10 million per year..and yet signing Marner only keeps them where they are. They still are lacking on defense and grit.

Provorov and Konecny fit the bill exactly.

Provorov will also be very hard to sign this summer...but at the end if the day, Provo and TK will probably get done for about the same amount of money as Marner.

The Flyers would get the scoring help they need badly...

So would you do it?

Now for a rumor...

The Flyers are interested on Mitch Marner and there has been a lot of talk about them offer sheeting him. The expectation is that Toronto would match of course, but the Flyers are apparently deadly serious about this... Could that lead to a trade?
