Yesterday, on a rare “down” day, it was a chance to walk back through some of the interviews from this year. Coach Watson spoke about Kasper near the end and included a quote, “His play is relentless, he gives 110% and more sometimes, he’s a guy you can’t kick off the ice”.

The quick clip was taken from that interview and we’ve seen the young player grow into the opportunities to play in bigger situations. In his last 5 games the 2022 first rounder has 5 goals and 1 assist. Going back, there were several calls in the comments for Kasper to hit the roster after a strong camp and preseason. Even when offense is lacking, Kasper throws himself into the play. He doesn’t hold back and wants every second he can get. That attitude seems to have meshed well with the new coach and certainly with his linemates.
