I did a wrap up of the “Frenzy”. I did some proposed line combinations, you can take a look and see what you think. In my mind, Suter is automatic on the second line. I suppose it’s possible that he and Fabbri can swap back and forth if needed. As soon as we got Pius, it just hit me as common sense that he’s in the top six for the Wings.

The zoom interview is worth the watch. Seems like a nice guy, and driven to contribute. The opportunity in Detroit is something special. A player can take a job. It’s nice to see guys who embrace that fact and are ready to go.

There are still some players out there, and Detroit has a few RFAs to get wrapped up. Again, I’m not really wringing my hand or doing a Hulk Hogan/King David impression shirt rip. If an exciting name pops up (Strome, Ritchie) that would be just one more step toward a better season.

Thanks again to everyone who has come by. The overall vibe seems fairly positive. Grabbing another young player who could be here longer term is something you all have an appetite for (me too). Eventually the stop gap will, well, stop.

*fair warning. If any of you have been to a Pentecostal church service where things went a little crazy, you may be concerned that Pius begins speaking in “tongues” at around the 9 minute mark. Apparently, that is not the case. While he is very happy to be here, it was not spiritually confusing or transcendent. It’s almost as if he knows at least two completely different languages!!! (Sarcasm implied)
