Update - Detroit has sent this year’sfirst round pick Michael Brandsegg Nygaard to Sweden where he’ll join prospect Axel Sandin Pellikka.

Update: The Mlive link now reads that it may be Austin Watson that made the team as Kasper has been assigned to Detroit

PHR is keeping tabs on all waivers. Here is the list for Detroit today so far. Will update:

Detroit Red Wings
F Sheldon Dries
D Justin Holl
D William Lagesson
D Brogan Rafferty
F Joe Snively

Updated reassignments per Red Wings

Nate Danielson, Cross Hanas, Marco Kasper, Carter Mazur and Elmer Söderblom, defensemen Tory Dello, Antti Tuomisto, Eemil Viro and William Wallinder, and goaltenders Sebastian Cossa and Carter Gylander

Obviously it’s interesting to see Holl on the list. Someone may have broken through. Ansar Khan has a piece that looks at Kasper as making the roster. I personally wonder if it’s Watson, we’ll find out soon. Update - looks like my gut may have been on the right track as Kasper has been reassigned to GR

Elite Prospects shows that Axel Sandin-Pellikka has 5 points (1G, 4A) in his first 7 games. At just 19 he’s tied for 3rd in points as Skellefteå- aik is hunting for championship glories once more. Still no word on if MBN will be joining that team or staying in North America.
