I am putting together a piece that I will be posting before dinner today but in the meantime, I wanted to post this piece of info quickly for all Sens fans to discuss. Goaltender Matt Murray is not on the ice this morning, with the Sens first game two days from now. Sens GM Pierre Dorion had to get a goaltender from the University of Ottawa to have 2 goaltenders on the ice for practice. The fact that they were able to get this emergency goaltender on the ice in time for practice tells me they knew about this during the very early AM hours!

I already had someone text me saying is Murray made of glass?! When it comes to important pieces for this season, Murray is at the top of the list.

On another note, Montreal is signing Nick Sizuki to an 8 year contract extension/AAV 7.85 million. My next question is, what does Josh Norris get coming out of his entry level deal? Oh and Ottawa still has yet to sign Brady Tkachuk!
