Maaaaannnnnn did that Game 3 win feel good! It was ugly, but it was a win.
This will be a quick one because I don’t think there’s a ton to say. The Cats know what they need to do. The fans know what they need to do. So I will leave you with these thoughts…
Are They back?
Florida looked stellar the opening 10 minutes of the first, only to stumble and bumble their way through the remainder of that period and for stretches of the second and third.
But then something clicked.
It was in the dying minutes of the third and into OT that the Panthers looked the way they did in rounds 1-3. They swarmed Vegas. It was desperation and sheer will. The boost from Tkachuk’s return/goal propelled them into OT and the eventual win. The “it” factor felt like it returned.
Let’s hope!

I don’t know how much more is fans, the experts/announcers and everyone in between can say it…
STAY OUT OF THE BOX!
Game 3 some some really stupid and selfish penalties taken by Florida. While it’s impossible to stay out of the box, it is possible to control yourself from taking stupid penalties.
Every man advantage the Cats give VGK feels like an automatic goal is coming. Vegas went 2/6 on Thursday night, while the lowly Florida PP was 0/5.
Incredible job killing off that (soft) call at the end of the third though. Wow. I think that helped their mojo, but let’s not make that a habit…
Just. Stay. Out. Please.
BTW - How about Bob in Game 3, eh? Incredible performance to keep the Cats in it. Let’s keep seeing that!
