MM: Good evening hockey fans and welcome to Thursday Night Thunder! I’m joined by current Stanley Cup champ, King Cat. King…last year you had a big push and ultimately got over with the fans to win your first Stanley Cup. You’ve continued this momentum into the 2024-25 campaign, finding yourself atop the Atlantic Territory. However, it hasn’t been without its ups and downs. You’ve had some stretches of poor outings, but seem to bounce back. For example, you were beat bad on Tuesday night 6-3 at the hands of Captain Capital. These type of losses raise questions with your fans and give ammo to your critics. What do you have to say about that?
KC: WELL LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHIN’ MEAN MATT…! IT’S AMAZING THESE SO CALLED FANS CAN EVEN TIE THEIR SHOWS AND GET OUT THE FRONT DOOR IN THE MORNING BECAUSE ANYONE WITH EYES AND HALF A BRAIN COULD SEE THE MATCH WITH CAPTAIN CAPITAL WAS A LOT CLOSER THAN THE FINAL SCORE SHOWED. BUT WHY RELIVE THE PAST? TONIGHT I HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO BOUNCE BACK AGAINST A TRUE JOBBER IN BRUISER BLUE! I MEAN LOOK AT THIS GUY…HE FIRES HIS MANAGER MID SEASON, GETS A SHINY NEW TOY IN JIM MONTGOMERY AND HE’S NOT EVEN A MID-CARDER…HA! THIS GUY SHOULD BE DRIVIN’ THE ZAMBONI AT THE LOCAL RINK! THE SOONER I GET THE WIN, THE SOONER I CAN GET OUT OF STINKY ST. LOUIS AND THE BETTER I’LL FEEL!
