The Toronto Maple Leafs announced a roster of 27 players for the 2022 Traverse City Prospect Tournament that begins on Thursday. The roster includes 16 forwards, eight defensemen and three goaltenders. The Maple Leafs will compete in the five-team tournament with rookies from the Columbus Blue Jackets, Dallas Stars, Detroit Red Wings and St. Louis Blues from September 15 to 19.
Attending this year’s tournament will be 11 Maple Leaf draft picks (Nick Abruzzese, Semyon Der-Arguchintsev, Pontus Holmberg, Mikko Kokkonen, Filip Král, Brandon Lisowsky, Fraser Minten, Axel Rindell, Nick Robertson, William Villeneuve, Ty Voit), along with five players signed to NHL contracts (Curtis Douglas, Max Ellis, Pavel Gogolev, Braeden Kressler, Alex Steeves) and five players signed to AHL contracts (Luke Cavallin, Tommy Miller, Keith Petruzzelli, Marshall Rifai, Graham Slaggert).
Additionally, the Maple Leafs have signed six players to Amateur Tryout Agreements (Marco Costantini, Pano Fimis, Avery Hayes, Kasper Larsen, Sean McGurn, Noah Van Vliet).
The Toronto Maple Leafs Prospect team will be overseen by Assistant General Manager Ryan Hardy and the head coach will be Maple Leafs assistant coach Manny Maholtra. Malhotra will be assisted by Duanté Abercrombie, Jordan Bean, Danielle Goyette, John Snowden, and Hannu Toivonen.

Friday, Sept. 16 – vs. St. Louis - 6:30 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 18 – vs. Columbus - 2:00 p.m.
