We had another huge night and just missed being perfect if not for Vegas blowing it for us. We now have 7 straight winning nights here, all documented, spread the word to everyone on Twitter and social media. I truly think I provide angles and info that nobody else does on the internet today! As I mentioned in my blog yesterday, beware of COL and CAL as favs that they were in tough sandwich spots and sure enough both lost. Those dogs were hitting at +300 and more so to all of you that hit them, great job! At this point in the NHL season, it's all about hitting teams in the right spot. When looking at teams trending down, the Knights are in trouble folks, they need Stone and Patches back! Dogs were 6-3 last night. As I mentioned in my blog that AZ and MTL were live dogs with their opponents looking ahead, bad sandwich games! We have a 7 game card tonight, analysis below.
MIN/BUF - The Sabres actually won in a shootout in Minny early in the season and now they catch the Wild in a tough road spot. This will be the Wild's 7th of their last 9 games on the road and BUF was rested last night while Minny played a tough physical game in PHI. Huge lean to BUF +171. BUF snapped a 6 game losing streak against TOR and now start a 5 game homestand. I expect Craig Anderson to start in goal, this Sabres team plays differently in front of him. The only thing that worries is that BUF is off a 5 game roadie, otherwise I would unload on the Sabres in a great dog spot.
DET/TB - TB lost to PIT at home 5-1 while the Wings sat rested last night. TB then heads out on a 6 game roadie, so be careful if you're playing TB -345. The Wings have gone over the total in 8 of their last 10 games. Small lean to DET +280 due to TB off the PIT game and ready to head out on a long roadie.
NJ/NYR - The NYR beat NJ earlier in the season 4-3 SO at home, in their last 10 meeting head to head, 8 have gone over the total! The Rangers head out on a 4 game roadie after this game(WIN/MIN/STL/DAL), so I wonder how motivated they are after the big home win over STL. Small lean to NJ +150 as the line seems very low and the Devils head home for a 4 game homestand after this.
PITT/CAR - The Canes are off 2 road losses at DET and WSH. PIT is off a huge road win at TB last night. This will be only the 2nd game this week for PITT before they return home for a tough 3 game homestand against FL/VEG & CAR. Small lean to PITT +130. CAR won in PITT two weeks ago. Head to head they have gone under the total in 7 of their last 10 games.
LA/CLB - The have now lost 2 in a row after a 5 game winning streak, but they have gone over the total in 8 of their last 10 games. The Jackets are 7-3 in their last 10 games and have BOS & TOR on deck. LA has lost 2 in a row after winning 5 straight, lean to LA -145.
DAL/WIN - The Stars won both home games in OT vs. WIN this season. They lost at WIN in a shootout earlier this year. The Jets have NYR and TB on deck too, tough stretch of home games, they need this one badly. Lean to WIN -110.
VEG/ANA - The Knights are trending down in a big way without Patches and their captain Mark Stone, this team has no identity. Lehner is playing with a torn labrum too. The Ducks sat rested last night while Vegas played a big time physical/emotiona game against Boston, then travel to Anaheim. ANA is on a 6 game homestand, 2-2 so far and catch VEG in a great spot as the Ducks are very healthy at long last. Both teams have won at home head to head this season. Huge lean to ANA at even money! The Ducks have gone over the total in 7 of their last 10 games. Vegas heads home for a game against Ottawa, then hit the road for 5 games, watch what happens with this Vegas team on the road trip.
