No time to panic in Leafs land just yet. Just concerned. Toronto still has a 10 point cushion in the playoff race. Now they are tied with Tampa in the division.

Ottawa has won five straight games against Toronto (regular seasons or otherwise) for the fourth time in the history of the rivalry.

Leafs host Calgary on Monday, I will tee that game up with a column tomorrow morning.

Toronto is 1-4-1 over their past 6 games, with 2 goals for in 5 of the games. Been struggling at home as well, 3-6-1 in their last 10 on friendly ice, going 4/23 on the PP in that span.

Last night the Leafs were lucky to get out of the first period 0-0, they were outshot 10-5, another flat start by Toronto. Rielly lead the Leafs in shots yesterday with 4. Marner and Matthews combined for just 3. Domi who had a great game on Thursday did not have a shot on net.

The last 8 games, the Leafs have had 25 or fewer shots 4 times. Maybe it's time for the West Coast offence, where's Mike Shanahan?

Scoreboard watching time. Panthers are at the Islanders tonight.

But the big game of the day is at 3:30PM EDT. Dallas at Colorado. It's the Mikko "What The Hell Did You Do To Me" Rantanen challenge in Denver.

Rantanen (681) is 7th all-time in points in franchise history. MacKinnon (1001), became the third player in Quebec/Colorado history to have 1,000 points with the franchise. Sakic-1641, Peter Stastny-1048.

Back tomorrow for your Monday Morning Maple Leafs.
