Rookie Tyce Thompson, who recently signed a 2 year deal, took the ice for practice today. He is wearing #12.
Too early to tell when he will take a shift in a regular game but the Devils youth insurance is in full effect.
Just a quick note with the news today.
To some, this may come at no surprise, Gusev has been placed on waivers.
With 5 points (2g, 3a) for a goal scoring winger isn't what the Devils want or need.
No doubt he has struggled this season, he has also been unlucky as well but he hasn't been able demonstrate the ability to blend in and carve out a place.
Does he get picked up? I hope not. As we need depth, vets to complement the kids and maybe even a Seattle Expansion play.
I think the bigger question here is;
Do the Devlis have something up their sleeves?
Perhaps.
