I was pretty confident Kris Letang would be back with the Penguins this regular season. He was able to do so with his first stroke in 2014 and by all accounts this one was less severe. I wasn’t counting on it happening ten days later. Great news coming out of the Penguins practice today

What a great thing to see. I’ve got nothing unique to say about it I’m just glad to see it. Kris Letang is an all-time Penguin and it really sucked when the news dropped of his second stroke. He works so hard to keep himself in top shape and is probably one of the hardest working Penguins in history. I have to imagine it is quite the boost to morale as well.

Practice opens with Mike Sullivan welcoming Kris Letang back to practice, stick taps all around from his teammates and Letang goes down the line fist-bumping some guys.

I imagine the Penguins will ease Kris Letang back into things. Judging by the defense pairings, they are.
