Game 12: Kraken @ Coyotes - Don't Be The First |

Tonight the Seattle Kraken are going to play against the Arizona Coyotes. This blog is coming out shortly before the game so I'm going to keep things quick. Tonight the Kraken will try to not be the first team this season to lose to the Arizona Coyotes. The Coyotes are 0-10-1 this season with a goal differential of -31. They are maybe the worst team we have seen take the ice in over a decade. I legitimately think that there are a number of AHL teams that could take this team out.
The goal now is to not be the team that lost to them.
A win tonight would push the Kraken past past the Golden Knights and tied with the LA Kings with 11 points. No wins in the NHL are guaranteed but this is probably as close as you can get. The Kraken have played some smart and good hockey over the past couple of weeks and I don't want to see them misstep against this joke of a franchise.

I really like the idea of Geekie and Eberle together. Both are dynamic players who can make things happen and Donato in front of the net makes this a really good third line that should feast on lesser competition.
Wennberg and Schwartz have both really come to life over the past few games and are giving the Kraken a line that has legitimate first line scoring potential. Throw in Gourde and Jarnkrok on the second line and ultimately I am liking the depth I am seeing here.
