Best Guess at this point on who goes and who stays by the deadline…

As we get down to the trade deadline, I thought I would take a moment right now, with little more than a week to go, to get into the Flyers and what I’ve heard so far….

The Flyers are very much open for business and taking calls. This is Briere’s style and has been since the beginning. He likes to get in conversation with GMS and by taking any and all calls he’s done a good job at finding some nice deals out there so far….

The Flyers are telling everyone they think they can get a first round draft pick for Scott Laughton….. Rumors they turned down the second from Winnipeg are not entirely true, it didn’t get that far, but rather agents rambling behind the scenes to get something going…. Helps to know the tendencies of certain writers and who their sources are…I do think at the end of the day they will move him for a second…

Ristolainen is a very different story. From all I can tell the Flyers will hold out for a number one pick + for him I think and I don’t think deep down the Flyers really wanna trade him. And to be honest, I don’t know why you would. He’s where Sanheim was early last year and if he continues to progress he’s going to be a steal at that price.

The two under the radar, our Couturier and Hathaway. Couts has had a really great bounce back season and he could be exactly what a team is looking to make a run in the playoffs needs.Of course the Flyers would have to take on half the salary and maybe get a third team involved, but that’s not something that’s impossible I’ve heard…. As for Hathaway, he’s no stranger to the trade deadline. He’s a kind of guy that you want to add to a roster for the playoffs,…especially in the eastern conference.

I’ve heard scattered things about Nick Seeler… Teams love him and why wouldn’t they? He’s a warrior to the fullest extent, and an absolute bargain of 2.7 per this year and the next three years…. People are very interested in him, but I don’t think the Flyers are gonna go down that road unless they’re overwhelmed by a proposal they can’t refuse.

Who do you want the to keep and who to move?
