He has long been a favorite of mine, but Andrew Mangiapane is a guy who sources tell me is VERY much on the target range for Briere and the Flyers this summer. He is highly skilled makes great plays and is solid all over the ice. He has never minus player in his career.
And still, his last two teams Calgary, and now Washington, play this guy way too few minutes. But this kid does nothing but score and fly around the ice..
Over the last 4 season he has averaged just over 15 minutes ice time per game…That’s roughly the same as the ice time as Joel Farabee was getting in Philly…
However over the last 4 seasons he has averaged 20 goals and 20 assists…playing on second/third lines and very few power play minutes…
His best season was in Calgary 4 years ago where he scored 35 and assisted on 20 goals STILL playing under 16 minutes…
