yes, tonight is one of the most important games of the Columbus Blue Jackets have played in years. They need to beat the flyers and regulation and then go on and beat the Islanders and regulation to have a shot at that last playoff spot….
Montreal lost last night, as I predicted they would, ask Kevin Gibson. I made that prediction because this was the first time the Montréal Canadiens all year were playing a game that their fans were expecting them to win… playing the underdog all year took the pressure off… but of course, if you get this close your fans, expect it…Demidov looked like the only player last night who wasn’t nervous in my opinion…. And why should he be because he was just dropped into the situation? If Montreal loses the playoff spot, you can be sure the decision to not to have Demidov in the shootout will be all they talk about up there until October…
So Canadiens fans are hoping the Flyers can help them out… and of course Flyers fans mostly also want The Flyers to lose this game in regulation… The Blue Jackets are playing great hockey right now and will be energized by last night’s results…All roads point to Jackets win…
At this point, Columbus is facing the same situation Montreal found themselves in last night. Playing against a team that doesn’t care, is below you in the standings, etc… so the pressure will be similar on Columbus tonight, although not as much as Montreal because…. Well…Montreal…

I just have a feeling that the Flyers win this one..Because That’s Hockey! The only thing a coach can really control is what goalie they play in this situation….
