Really tough loss last night as the Flyers played what was one of their best games of the season against Vegas....especially the much-maligned Morgan Frost...

Frost was popping up in trade rumors this week. However, as a rumor guy, I can tell you there was very little to it and it was all driven more by speculation than anything else...

As I have said continually, give him some skill to play with and some confidence and he becomes a very important player moving forward. During the Covid season it was Frost and Giroux working magic in the rare chances they had together...last night, and way more importantly looking forward, it was Frost and Michkov who were dazzling..The two see the game in similar ways, and that was quite apparent last evening.

In general, the Flyers at times dominated one of the hardest working teams in the NHL and though they lost in a shootout, they hit some key posts and truly deserved better....I am generally not a believer in Puck Luck, but last night they really had some key bounces just allude them..

This team is starting to look to me better than they have in a few years.. This month they took the past two Cup winners to OT, losing in Florida and then last night Vegas....This is not a tank team..

Maybe we shouldn't Patrick Sharp him away to Chicago after all..
