Loved your opinions on the benching of Mitchkov....Well tonight he is back along with Poehling and Johnson...and to the press box goes Frost and Drysdale

On Drysdale...
He has struggled maybe more than any other non-goalie this season...He is at his best when he is allowed to play his game and is not hesitant...Unfortunately, he looks hesitant 75% of the time...He reminds me a great deal of Gostisbehere..and as I said in the last blog..The press bx did no favors for Ghost.

On Frost...
I feel he has been playing much better than he is being rewarded...He is snake bit to say the least, but he is the kind of player, like a young Giroux, who started tp thrive when he played with skilled players...For Frost, he needs a Farrabe or a Micchkov to compliment his game...Remmeber Giroux's game really thrived when he was put with Briere...

On Poehling...
He is a hell of a shot blocker, one of the best in the NHL, but to put him as a second-line center makes almost no sense to me.. Tonight's second line appears to be Poehling, Richard and Michkov...Which one of these is not like the other, which one of these just doesn't belong?

Tonight....will see Sam Ersson start...the Swede gets the call exactly 39 years and a day after the tragic death of my all-time favorited and fellow Swede...Pelle Lindbergh.. Ersson's style does sometimes echo Pelle's. especially when he plays a little more standup as he does in shootouts...

What are your thoughts on the changes and the new Michkov lines?
