Would you?

Quick, simple questions for you on this Sunday…. The Flyers play the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight, and they will face off against a player the Flyers have long cherished: Mitch Marner. Now, I know I can say everybody wants to have Mitch Marner on their team, but the Flyers honestly have wanted to have Mitch Marner on this team for a long time….and even explored it. And they are paying close attention to whether or not he will be re-signing into Toronto.

Currently Marner is slated to be a UFA come July 1. The sides are nowhere near an extension and aren’t even talking as far as we know.

Obviously, if you can sign Marner as a UFA this summer, you do it. Toronto might not be able to. In fact, some people there believe that they just won’t be able to, and this is already a forgone conclusion. Marner will be testing the market according to sources. I’m not so sure about this. I think that they can still get something done. I think he wants to stay there. But he’s gonna need a lot of money..

So Flyers fans, two questions:

1. How much money are you willing to spend to sign Mitch Marner as a UFA? $12 per?
2. Hypothetically, If both were signed, would you trade Matvei Michkov straight up for Mitch Marner?
