After one of the more insane games in recent memory, the Hawks are back at it tonight for the first of back to back games. First up is the Buffalo Sabres, who after a hot start have cooled off a bit, losing their last two.
Some minor changes here. Kurashev jumps up to the Toews line after some great play as of late. Blackwell slides into the wing on the LaffyDick line and Katchouk draws into the line up as Khaira comes out. McCabe will also see top line minutes as he returns to Buffalo.
Soderblom will make his season debut and with a lot of people predicting he could take over the top spot by the end of the season, this will be a great early test for him.
This game will be a good test to see how this team bounces back after a loss to a good team. Will the Hawks past issues of playing down to their opponents level come to light? Time will tell, puck drop is 6pm central time.
