Breaking: Former CBJ F Dzingel on waivers! Claim?
The Columbus Blue Jackets return home in a battle with Buffalo, who just got annihilated by the Colorado Avalanche last night in their own barn. Columbus is finishing their makeup contests from COVID, and with that brings three new storylines since their last contest in Chicago.
The Blue Jackets have activated Justin Danforth off the injury reserve, and have reassigned Trey Fix-Wolansky to the affiliate Monsters. That’s right, Danforth is back on the fourth line and ready to go tonight against the Sabers.
Jet Graves has signed his entry level contract with Columbus, after having been practicing and trying out with the team since the Traverse City rookie tournament. Congratulations Jet!
Jean-Francois Berube is getting the start for the Jackets, his first NHL start in 1,416 days. Berube’s last NHL start came as a member of the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2017-18 season, though he had starts in the preseason as a member of the Philadelphia Flyers and Columbus Blue Jackets.

Players to Watch
Buffalo—> Alex Tuch. 2 goals and 5 assists in his last 5 games. Now being healthy, he is their top guy on the offense since the Eichel trade.
Columbus—> Jack Roslovic. 96 has 3 goals and an assist in his last two games against Buffalo this season. I fully expect that production to carry over, no matter what some say about work ethic, it is there with him.
