CBJ G9 @ Dallas Stars - Duchene |

|
The Columbus blue jackets return tonight to the ice for a 8 o’clock tilt in Dallas versus the Dallas Stars for their first meeting of the season on Bally sports Ohio.
The stars are coming off a Western Conference playoff series defeat by the hands of the Vegas, Golden Knights, who went on to win the Stanley Cup. The team has gotten older and better over the course of the summer with this being the first time the Jackets meet Matt Duchene in a green jersey. The Stars have been off to a mediocre start to the season and are hoping to turn things around at home tonight in front of their faithful does calls for an interesting game as Dallas continues to ride healthy.
Columbus is still without the services of Patrik Laine, who suffered a concussion last week against the Calgary Flames. This has given Dmitry Vokornov, the chance to come in and wreck shop on the fourth line with Sean Kuraly in Mathieu Olivier as Eric Robinson continues to sit with the Cleveland monsters.
It is expected to be Elvis versus otter tonight in the lineup for the goaltenders, and as the jackets are in midseason form, it will be an intriguing result for them tonight.

My Dallas player to watch is Jason Robertson, as he had a strong last season for the stars and getting them to be a dominant force in the Western Conference and with a slow start to the season Hoping things may turn around for him soon.
My Columbus player to watch is Johnny Gaudreau as he continues to not stand out to the start of the Vincent era, but has been Ho-Hum for the blue jackets on the top line.
Tonight is a superstar matchup along with a nearly full schedule for a Monday night to the eve of Halloween Let’s see what the spooks have for us. More to come…
