The Columbus Blue Jackets’ shined brightest in the upset 6-4 regulation victory of the Montreal Canadiens.

Similar to the previous game, number 15 against Philadelphia, the Jackets score the first two goals.

Cole Sillinger potted his second goal of the season with the helpers from Erik Gudbranson and Jake Christiansen. This was Christiansen’s first career NHL assist.

Gustav Nyquist doubled up for his third of the season; Gavin Bayreuther and Yegor Chinakov got the helpers.

Montreal came back with two of their own. Jordan Harris’ first came from Nick Suzuki and Juraj Slafvosky. For the 2022 first overall pick, it was his first career assist. The former Columbus winger Josh Anderson evened the game for his 5th; Brendan Gallagher and Christian Dvorak had the helpers.

Captain Boone Jenner extended the lead for the home team for his 7th of the season; Kent Johnson and Johnny Gaudreau had the apples.

Brendan Gallagher evens the scoring for his third of the season; Dvorak and Mike Hoffman had the assists.

Sean Kuraly got the leading goal for his 4th of the season; Eric Robinson had the lone assist.

Mathieu Olivier was given the credit with the game winning goal for his first goal as a Columbus Blue Jacket; Kuraly had the lone helper.

Montreal’s last goal came from their captain, Nick Suzuki, for his 11th of the year; Kirby Dach and Jonathan Kovacevic had the helpers.

Sean Kuraly potted an empty netter for his 5th of the season; Gudbranson and Jenner had the helpers.

Cole Caufield was my Habs’ player to watch. While pointless, he was a -2 with 5 shots on net in 20:36TOI.

Samuel Montembault allowed 23 of 28 shots faced for a 0.821 save percentage.

Vladislav Gavrikov was my player to watch admits the rumors, where he was a +3 in 25:57TOI.

Joonas Korpisalo allowed 4 goals on 42 shots for a 0.905 save percentage.
