Chicago fired away with 4 unanswered goals in 9:56 time on ice between the late first period and early second period.

Patrick Kane’s fifth of the season was assisted only by Jonathan Toews.

My Blackhawks’ player to watch, Max Domi had his 11th of the season from Kane and Tyler Johnson.

Andreas Athansiou’s seventh came from San Laffrety and Ian Mitchell.

Taylor Raddysh’s 10th was supported by Toews and Pavel Kurashev.

Kirill Marchenko ended the shutout streak with his fourth career goal in his 10th career NHL game. Marcus Bjork and Jack Roslovic had the helpers on the power play goal.

The final Columbus goal came from Marcus Bjork for his third career goal. Gustav Nyquist and Roslovic had the helpers.

Toews’ 11th goal on the season ended the game scoring. His powerplay goal was assisted by Kane and Domi.

Domi was my Chicago Blackhawks’ player to watch, having a goal and an assist against one of his most recent teams from last season. Domi joined Chicago on a paycut based on their roster needs, and is getting the ice time and points. Given his paycut, physical perseverance with Type I, and family name with father Tie; he is doing alright for himself.

Alex Stalock was the starter for the Hawks, allowing only 2 goals on 31 shots faced for a 0.931 save percentage.

Adam Boqvist in his first game back was pointless with a -1 rating; 2 shots and hits; and a block shot, hitting 20 minutes on the ice in his return.

Daniil Tarasov was the starter, allowing 4 goals on 20 shots for a 0.800 save percentage; Joonas Korpisalo came in for relief allowing one goal on 18 shots for a 0.944 save percentage.
