The Columbus Blue Jackets fell to the Minnesota Wild by the final score of 4-3 in overtime with the lead story being the NHL record books.

Congratulations to Marc-Andre Fleury in becoming the second winningest goalkeeper of all time, tying hockey hall of famer Patrick Roy.

Period I

Cole Sillinger opened the scoring for the game with his fifth goal of the season. Jake Bean and the returning Adam Boqvist had the assists.

Matthew Boldy evened the game on the powerplay with his 12th goal of the season. Rookie Brock Faber had the primary assist. Joel Eriksson Ek had the secondary assist.

Period II

Sillinger got his second of the evening 17 seconds in for his sixth this year from Kirill Marchenko.

Boldy brought the game back to all even again for his 13th from Mats Zuccarello and Faber on the powerplay.

Period III

Sillinger’s hat-trick counted for his seventh of the campaign. Boqvist had the lone assist.

Marcus Johansson got the game tying goal for his fifth of the season with the helper going to Ryan Hartman.

Overtime

Marco Rossi recorded the overtime game winning goal for his 12th of the regular season from Boldy and Faber.

Goaltenders

Marc-Andre Fleury had 25 saves on 28 shots faced for a 0.893 save percentage.


Daniil Tarasov stopped 33 saves of 37 shots faced for a 0.892 save percentage.
