The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed goaltender Zachary Sawchenko to a one year two way contract worth $775K AAV.

Sawchenko, 26, has played in 13 NHL games, all with the San Jose Sharks. He has also played pro with the AHL clubs in San Jose; Chicago; and Abbotsford. His development began with Moose Jaw. Expect him to support Jet Greaves this season.

Columbus also has three players heading to arbitration later this summer — the aforementioned Greaves; defender Jake Christiansen; and Russian winger Kirill Marchenko.

Greaves and Christiansen may get a bit over $1M from their agents, where the club may come in at league min. Marchenko is interesting. Given the 20 goal years, expect $2.5-3M for the young forward and to get the team over the cap floor if Laine moves.
