The Ottawa Senators fight for playoff position at home as the Senators host the Detroit Red Wings in Women in Sport night. This is the Wings and Sens’ third meeting of four of the regular season.
Detroit made some lateral moves at the deadline, after losing Christian Fischer through the waiver wire to Columbus. The Wings dealt forward Joe Veleno to Detroit to bring back goalie Petr Mrazek and add veteran forward Craig Smith from the Chicago Blackhawks.
Ottawa gets the debut of winger Fabian Zetterlund this evening after playing 11 forwards and 7 defenders Saturday afternoon against the New York Rangers.
