Ottawa Senators’ center Tim Stützle and defenseman Thomas Chabot combined for points on all four goals. The Senators rallied back to defeat the Philadelphia Flyers by the final score of 4-3 in overtime.
Period I
No goals scored; 14 shots on net. Forester and Gaudette each had minor penalties.
Period II
Philadelphia enforcer Nicolas Deslauriers drove to the crease to backhand the rebound for the opening goal over halfway through the frame. His second goal of the year was assisted by Cam York and Garnet Hathaway.
Tim Stützle evens the scoring less than a minute later for his 22nd of the season from Thomas Chabot and Travis Hamonic.
Noah Cates regained the lead off a backhand wraparound for his season high 16th goal from Emily Andrae and Bobby Brink.
Period III
Fabian Zetterlund brought the home team back to even with his second goal with the Senators and 19th of the regular season. Shane Pinto and Thomas Chabot had the helpers.
Garnet Hathaway got the visiting team the lead back for his 10th goal of the campaign from Nick Seeler.
Chabot tied the game for his 8th of the year from Andrew Crookshank’s first assist of the season and Stützle.
Overtime
Stützle capitalized on the powerplay from a Sanhiem interference call. The game winner was Stutzle’s 23rd of the regular season from Drake Batherson and the former Flyers’ first rounder, Claude Giroux.

Ivan Fedotov saved 21 of 25 shots for a 0.840 save percentage.
Anton Forsberg saved 29 of 32 shots for a 0.906 save percentage.
