The Four Nations round robin games continue today at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts with one squad advancing to the championship Thursday game — the United States of America.

Six goals in game one against Finland featured a secondary assist and two primary assists from Columbus defenseman Zach Werenski.

Three goals in game two against the Canadians also had a Werenski secondary assist on the American’s opening goal.

President’s Day 2025 closes the round robin matchups; as every nation will have faced each other once. The States will be shorthanded Monday as winger Matthew Tkachuk has been ruled out with a lower body injury; and is hopeful to play Thursday.

Jake Guentzel and Zach Werenski lead all skaters with 4 points in the two games.

The USA remains a heavy favorite to win it all from the elite talent front to back to the bench.

The other three nations each have two points; it’s any team’s chance to face the States. Who wants it?

My gut still believes in a Canadian/American rematch.
