More mtngs expected in Nashville as owners decide whether or not to match Weber offer sheet. Many around NHL don't think Preds can.

Even if we gave up Coby and Voracek to get Weber, and then we signed Doan, can you imagine how tough a game that is for the other team.

Forget wins / losses. Imagine being the other team where you have to play Weber, Doan, Simmonds, Harts, Schenn, Grossmann, Schenn, Rinaldo, Sestito. They could make for a very physical team.

Too bad I don't think we get Doan or Weber. I think Weber is still 50/50 - depending on our "offer" - but don't want to debate anyone on this. We'll see.

I've been called a b!tch, jacka$$, and other names that I can't remember. I questioned someone's comment and told them to chill out, and that was an offense.

I believed that Nashville was going to match when the news of the offer first broke. But I now believe that a trade is going to happen and the Flyers are going to get Weber. I think that Nashville can match, but they have likely determined that a deal is a better course of action. I may not like the deal. But I'll love getting Weber.

Yo Philly fans...
my take is we are ok with Weber and ok without. If we keep our current roster, add Voracek, Sestito, Bourdain, and still have room for Doan and/or Ryan. I think with our defense we are set for this year but next is trouble cuz there are no more proven, impact defensman out there next year and we need to replace Timonen.

I say stay where we are and have a balanced 1 thru 4 scoring lines.
