Then the influence this should have on the new CBA as well.

I don't think that Offer Sheets are the problem. It's the misuse of them. I think it's more likely that the some of the loopholes are going to be removed.

It's a loophole that the Flyers are exploiting, they clearly have a big advantage as a wealthy team. The CBA has to change if they want a level playing field for the small market clubs.

Yo Philly fans...
my take is we are ok with Weber and ok without. If we keep our current roster, add Voracek, Sestito, Bourdain, and still have room for Doan and/or Ryan. I think with our defense we are set for this year but next is trouble cuz there are no more proven, impact defensman out there next year and we need to replace Timonen.

I say stay where we are and have a balanced 1 thru 4 scoring lines.

Actually there are alot of free agent d men for next year that can be an impact player. Still rather get Weber though.
