I have heaped praise on Shero for other moves he's made. His hands were tied with Staal, so he did the best he could, but hockey wise, not a trade the helps the Penguins at all imo.

I have given Shero his due in the past. Guy has done a great job. His hands were tied with Staal, I'm sure he did the best he could possibly do under the circumstances. But hockey wise, that trade didn't help Pittsburgh. Staal by far was the best player in the deal.

If he misses one game for any reason (doesn't have to be sent down) or averages less than 25 mins a game the bonus is gone.
