I honestly feel our prospects are underrated. We have a lot of depth at all positions. Were just missing a blue chipper on defense. I see 10 nhl players in our system.

It really was pointless the best piece in the deal was probably the fifth round pick we got when we moved skoula to the devils

It's more so the fact that 95% of hockey forum trolls love to troll the Leafs and their fans..... to the point half their arguments aren't even logical.

Caron graduated, Spooner's development is starting to make me go "meh" at this point, Hamill's gone, Soderberg at this point isn't a prospect, and Koko jumping ship has me worried.

While Toronto added Rielly and Finn. I battled it out between them a lot. Both have stud top prospects in Rielly and Hamilton, though.

Hopefully KoKo is just a 1 or 2 year thing. Could actually wind up being beneficial for his development. He did sign an ELC in the summer so hopefully that's a good indication that he intends to play in the NHL at some point. He's saying the right things, but who knows what that's worth.

Actually, we run most of them out of town. And we called John Mitchell Johny Malkin because he had this habit of trying to do everything himself, in both cases the nicknames weren't compliments.

Incredible draft, along with very good development in the system... absolutely they jumped. But getting a prospect I had at first overall and a very likely first line center into the pipeline can do wonders

Bugs the hell out of me, but yeah, they made out like bandits at this draft. Obviously you’re gonna get a great player at 3, and I wanted Galchenyuk for the Leafs, but Collberg and Thrower are steals at where they got them too.

Tanev was a great find on the blueline, and I think Lack is going to turn some heads when he gets his shot. Schroeder I liked a lot in his draft year, put on quite the show at the combine too for his strength and endurance. I wonder if somewhere a long the way he was hurt, since there was a big drop off for a while there in his play. Hopefully things go better for him going forward.
