foligno may be one of our "untouchables" because of the way we ended last season. just like ennis.

if ennis or foligno were dealable, we'd have bobby ryan by now. but darcy doesnt pull the trigger....

sekera does make some dumb/unnecessary plays at times, but his smooth skating and ability to get the puck out of the zone onto the offensive rush is definitely above average.

gerbe plays with all heart. he never gives up. you guys would actually like him, he may be small but he plays with ALOT of energy

I like Hemsky's attitude, but his injury woes hurt his value more than Semin's value is hurt by his nonchalantness (real word? doubtful).

Jim Rutherford is a smart guy. This is an awesome low risk (what did they give up?) high reward (if Semin and Eric Staal click... dynamite) move for the Canes and Rutherford can likely flip him for some assets at the deadline if the Canes come up short.

I wouldn't hire Semin to carry around Hall and Ebs golf clubs.

I'm not sure how you think Semin will hurt them, if he loafs, they bench him. Hemsky will demonstrably hurt them: they lose whatever player it cost them to attain him.
