The most I'd give up for Ryan would be Laughton / MAB /1st / 2nd or Cousins. And Anaheim would reject that.

I like Rusty, but not on the 1st or 2nd line.

This is why I prefer Jake with Briere. Combo of playmaking and defense. I'd try:

Hartsy - G - Schenn
Simmonds - Briere - Vorachek
Wellwood - Coots - Read
Rusty - Talbot - Rinaldo

I'm ok with switching Rusty and Wellwood, which is what they'll likely do.

My preferred lineup is:

Hartsy - G - Doan
Schenn - Briere - Vorachek
Simmonds - Coots - Read
Rusty - Talbot - Rinaldo/Wellwood

That lineup could really compete with Pit and NYR. Every line is well-balanced. Chemistry is a finicky thing...but I think it would work here.
