I wish Doan would just pick someone and go. Whether that is Buffalo or some other place.

I doan want to hear any more about this. It's not a doan deal, and it never will be doan. Stop wasting time writing about stuff that doan happen. It's a shane to waste so much effort on this topic.

maybe it is just me but i do not see the draw in Ryan.. unless it is for Vanek so we get a lower cap hit i just don't see it.. yeah he is a very good player but (if they are asking what we are hearing they are asking) we are giving up way too much for him

Wait until Darcy confuses us all and trades for Corey Perry, he is a UFA next year and Anaheim should not trade Ryan, he is younger and signed for 3 years at 5 mill.

Buffalo knows they can pay Perry next year and we could get him at a descent price because "we don't know if he will re sign with the sabres". Just my opinion, I would turn my focus towards either he or Getzlaf, but Getzlaf is not going anywhere, but Perry might be a possibilty.

Well if that is your mindset... we should talk to Pitt about Malkin too.

Also at this point I would not be mad if we make no more moves. There won't be a ton of hype and probably cause more complaining. But the way this roster stands it would be an interesting camp with the spots available and all the hungry young players we have. It will also give the chance for either Grigs or Gergs to make the team and see where Adam, Tropp, Gerbe etc.and all these guys to see where they are at.

well it is my mindset because Perry plays for Anaheim and they seem to be making things clear that 1 of the 3 can not be afforded. I also think Ryan is a beast and if I was in Anaheim's shoes I'd keep Ryan over Perry. If I had to make that choice for the long tem of that franchise.

I don't know why Malkin has anything to do with it. I only brought up Perry because clearly there is talk about Anaheim moving Ryan out, so all i'm saying is darcy throws curveballs and I actually don't think that is entirely unrealistic.

Agreed. Great depth off the Bench, and can come in and play some time if needed without being a significant donwgrade.
