Hammerfall is a band that includes former drummer of Yngwie Malmsteen & the Rising Force, Anders Johannson. Hammerfall is one of those speed metal bands from Europe.... VERY good music, if it is your flavor. Anders and his brother Jens has stayed at my house.... loooong time ago!

Thanks.... to be more current with music: My Nephew is the lead singer and songwriter in the alternative band: Polar Bear Club. The are just finishing up their Vans Warped Tour and will be heading out to Germany and UK in a couple of weeks. Great music for those into that scene.

Not really.... I like most music, except Country. Having to hear EVERY Johnny Cash album over and over with full bass, while growing up, does that to you. Though I kinda like Johnny Cash now, go figure. Yngwie is one of the fastest, cleanest, metal guitarist I have ever heard. Anders Johannson is a pretty cool guy. Very funny and very personable. I am a Beatles, Beach boy, Zeppelin, Stones, Muddy Waters, Temptations, U2, Tears for Fears, Goo Goo Dolls, Norah Jones music lover all morphed into 1!

maybe it is just me but i do not see the draw in Ryan.. unless it is for Vanek so we get a lower cap hit i just don't see it.. yeah he is a very good player but (if they are asking what we are hearing they are asking) we are giving up way too much for him

Not really.... I like most music, except Country. Having to hear EVERY Johnny Cash album over and over with full bass, while growing up, does that to you. Though I kinda like Johnny Cash now, go figure. Yngwie is one of the fastest, cleanest, metal guitarist I have ever heard. Anders Johannson is a pretty cool guy. Very funny and very personable. now he isnt as clean as yngwie malmsteen, but buckethead has to be one of my top favorite guitarists. ive been playing guitar for 17 years and can play just about any solos, arpeggios, anything like that, but some of the funky fingerpicking and triple finger tapping techniques buckethead uses are something ill never be able to do.

yeah i saw buckethead when he came here a few years ago at Club Infinity. He's definitely a weird guy, doesnt talk to anyone, just comes on stage..plays..leaves

Yngwie is great for sure. If you're talking clean technique though, it's hard to beat Paul Gilbert. Unless of course you're Rusty Cooley.
