Voraceks pass in game 2 on Gs PP goal

They won't have good chemistry tho, need to blow it up for Ryan.

@D_LEED: Lots of people are saying Voracek is just going to step in and not miss a beat — sometimes it just doesn’t work like that… See 19-28-JvR.

What do you think?

How about my relatively unorthodox outlook....I think it's a mistake putting G and Czech together, only because they share the same philosophy: puck possession passers. On the PP, it's different. At 5-5 though, I keep them apart.

Keep G and Hartsy together, obviously, but I say pair Czech with Briere.

I wanna see the 1st 2 lines like this:

Read-G-Hartsy (Read is the sniper, I think he'd do wonders with G. Hartsy and G, we already know, are unbelievable together. Also, Reader's 2-way play makes the first line almost tolerable in the D zone)

Czech-Schenner-Briere (Czech being the passer to the sniper Briere, Schenner being that physical presence/grinder....I think it's worth a shot. The line is decent in the D zone, to boot)

Thoughts??

I'm fairly confident that the lines will be juggled throughout the season.

I wouldn't mind trying Read on the first line although I wouldn't call him a sniper even though NHL 12 does. He's more of a two-way forward. But I'm sure we'll see a ton of different line combos throughout the year. Remember JVR-G-Jagr?

Watching replay of game 3 vs pens, don't see how anyone can argue against crosby being a punk @$$ female dog.

Maybe, but only to see how much easier the pens will be to play against without staal.

I wholeheartedly think Read is a sniper.

Have you seen his snap shot?

It is pretty nice... Still, I'd say TWF if I was to choose in NHL 13. Also, Voracek better not be a sniper again...

I just would like to see a little bit of defensive parity on our forward lines.
