Understandable. I didn't bother with the list because of that reason. Since I'm 18, my list looks something like this....in no particular order following the top 4....
G
Prongs
Lindros
Lappy
Prims
Desjardins
JR
Gags
Recchi
Brindy - Giroux_Is_God
Im 21 myself so I didnt get a shot to see some of the former greats play.
One guy that isn't mentioned much in the favourites circle, is Hatch. Something about him just made me fall in love. Its great that he is still around in the organization.

Top 10 favorite Flyers of all time. Go. - NickTheKid87
Tocchet
Brind'amour
Hextall
Poulin
Howe
Beast
Sinisalo
Lindros
Hartnell
Pronger
Edit: players from the 70's team are omitted b/c I wasn't around for those cup runs nor was I old enough to vividly remember those players. |

I really liked Hatch in Dallas, however I think when he got here his best days were behind him. If the question was favorite all time league wide i think I could squeeze him in there for sure. |

Yeah, its bad when you start with a crappy player and say the prospect isn't as good. |
|
|
|
as interesting as the top 10 lists are, the disclosure of people's ages (as matched up to respective posting personalities) is quite telling. |

go on.. |
|
|

Maybe I'm showing my age, but why isn't Dave Brown on anyone's list? |
|
|
|
Renberg, eh? I am genuinely surprised. i'd go:
1. Giroux
2. LeClair
3. Lindros
4. Gagne
5. Forsberg
6. Primeau
7. Recchi
8. Pronger
9. Kapanen
10. Richards
EDIT: Had to tweak it. Forgot Prongs. - NickTheKid87
That said, I like this list best, although I would replace Keith with Dejardins. i like Keith but i could never get over the fact that we gave up Roddy for him, and, also, other than that BRIEF moment in time (2004 Playoff run) Keith really did have stone hands.
Good call on Sami and Recchi (though i hated seeing him play for Pitts and Boston) |

Not tense.
Just self deprecating humor. For darth vadar, this doesn't mean self defacating. |

Is this a M seeking M board?

I had the same thought too |

My list would destroy that list in a game, they don't even have a goalie |
|
|
|
my top ten (probably going to forget someone, oh well):
1. Brind'Amour
2. Desjardins
3. Gagne
4. Giroux
5. Richards
6. Leclair
7. Hextall
8. Kapanen
9. Briere
10. Handzus
edit: forgot to consider Forsberg and Pronger but I'll stick with this list... |

I can understand why a lot of people like Forsberg, he was a tremendous player a top ten of all time perhaps. But as a Flyer, I'd rather think of him from his colorado days. |

he'd be on my list
i know it was basically 1 year, but i friggin loved watching him with gagne and knuble
was a big fan of his during his Colorado days too so that helped. I'll never forget being at a Phils game when it came over the scoreboard that the Flyers signed him.
