i know it was basically 1 year, but i friggin loved watching him with gagne and knuble
was a big fan of his during his Colorado days too so that helped. I'll never forget being at a Phils game when it came over the scoreboard that the Flyers signed him.

Oh he's a hall of famer no doubt and I can't fault you at all for liking him so much. I think if he switched his lanche days with his Flyer days, I'd be right there with ya. Hell anyone that knew me back in the 90's would tell you I hopped on that bandwagon hard when the Flyers were out of it. Detroit vs Colorado were the best Playoff series I can remember. Yes when he was signed here i was tingly too but I felt rather let down with the way it went. I don't fault him for it all, the guy had a foot problem and unfortunately ended his career rather prematurely. For top 10 flyers of all time, I don't know if i can put him there, considering what so many have done in their careers as a flyer. He definitely is one of the most talented to don the O&B that's for sure.

Yes, same as they can take the blame for rushing Zubrus. In both cases, the choice NOT to send the player back to juniors was the Flyers' decision - and plays into their development.

And how he was used is part of the development. Didn't just bring him in and put him on a scoring line. Brought him in and used him with increasing time and responsibility as he showed he was ready and able.
