I don't know why, but I have a really good feeling about Cal Heeter. I like a player that develops in a winning atmosphere. I also like that Heeter took a leadership or at least lead role in the make up of the Ohio team. He had some very good stats and set some College records. Now I know he's a Colligiate player and not ready for the NHL but I like his confidence. I like his belief in himself that when the game is on the line he wants the pressure. I know he's not ready yet, but with that attitude and some obvious skill I could see him Backing up Bryz in a year or 2 depending on where he is on the depth chart.

funny, i was thinking the same thing the other day. i stumbled across this kid a couple of years ago while i was searching for something goalie related - even posted about him in here for no other reason than that i found his name amusing. strange that he ends up as a prospect with the flyers. i've read good things about him. looking forward to seeing what happens.
