It's not ethnophobia rob, we want them to actually integrate Québec, not get into ghettos and stick with the other immigrants. We want them to become Québécois, to learn what our culture is and accept our values. We don't ask them to drop theirs though, unless they come into conflict with ours.We want them to learn the official language, we don't ask them to stop teaching their mother language to their kids.

I speak for myself, but I don't want to see the english language prohibited here, but rather taught early on at school, so we have a bilingual province country.

Mainly because Québec is a big village, and doesn't have the same cachet.

Got to say though that when I went to Stade Saputo beside the olympic village, I was very impressed by the beauty of the area (Rosemont).

Must be pretty expensive though.
