For a buck I wasn't checking it out. These Alberta kids are following the lead of big oil on their profit margins. I drove home and had a rum and coke. - doon
Should've set up shop accross the road and under cut the little (frank)ers
And what's your take on the whole Kool-Aid issue? - hscesq
Now, I couldn't tell if that was a bitterly sarcastic, semi-rhetorical question meant to imply that I'm on the 'Aid' or if you were actually looking for some kind of legitimate response. Seeing as this is Hockeybuzz, I'll assume it was the former, but I'll answer as though it was the latter!
I say everyone drinks a little Kool-Aid. Some more than others, of course, but we all have it inside us. I like the grape flavour

It was a joke. That's all it was. Just a simple joke. You killed it.

ALL fanbases do the same thing with their own team. They overvalue guys all the time - that's what being a fan is all about. - hscesq
I didn't mean to limit it to those fanbases. I'm just saying, with a larger number of fans, you get some pretty passionate ones, and you get more that carried away.
I've heard/read somewhere in the recent past that if the top 3 in the draft was Hall, Nuge and Yak, you pick Yakupov, he's gonna be that good, we have some good young D coming up the ranks, yes, Subban is good, but with Shutlz and Klefbom coming up...no thank you on Subban for Yakupov.

Been there few times. People are arrogant in MTL, they know you can't speak french and make life difficult. - Lahey
This sounds like Quebec City. i drove through Quebec in the early/mid 90s and the only time I had an issue was in QC at a Timmy Hoho trying to get some food.

Why the (frank) are there so many goddamn mods floating around these threads? If we need a referee at least let's get one of our own, Lahey? Reveen? AMO? Who's up for it? - ShooterMcGavin
TBH I am trying to become a Ref for our threads...I have put in a request to the site and have chatted with a current ref who has said he will back me.

I can agree with the No to trading Yak...I give up a pile of other stuff...seriously over pay in other ways first.
