I have a friend who is coming in to pick up some people from the Phillies game Saturday night. What would you guys recommend as a meeting place? I have no idea where he could wait that he wouldn't be rousted and would have a decent escape route back across the Walt Whitman.

The Holiday Inn or by the Turf Club. He can jump right back onto Packer and hit the bridge in short order.
man i could watch that every single day - Crimsoninja
Yep. Great vid.
Couldn't help but notice how many of those plays involved Jagr. I'm a little afraid we will miss him more than we think. He did fade toward the end of the year, but he added a lot to the team and our poise with the puck. Guess Jake will have to fill that role now. Hope he's ready.

agreed
for the last year or two before they picked up jagr i was really hoping to see them bring in a veteran sniper on the wing.
wouldnt be shocked if we see a drop in production from a few of them, but if they end up playing well as a team come the playoffs thats all that matters obviously.

Personally, I'm pretty damn excited to see the Flying Gingers take the ice.

Yeah, although I don't feel it's goal scoring that we'll miss as much as it is puck possession skill in the offensive zone, especially on the PP. When he was on his game, Jagr could hold the puck like nobody else. Hard to replace that. Jake showed flashes of it. Hopefully some of the young kids were paying attention too.

Oh I am too, no doubt. Just a little worried we'll miss Jagr a little more than I initially thought. - BringBack25
Call me an optimist, but I think trusting Voracek to fulfill Jagr's role from last season will be a boon for Jakub and the team. Necessity is the mother of invention, so to speak.

Bruce Richardinson is such a ham - BulliesPhan87
i really didnt get into them until my late teens/early 20s
but remember as a young kid always seeing that name and the shirts with Eddie on them and thinking they were some demonic death metal band or something.
was so shocked to discover how harmless and poppy (and awesome) they actually were.

I sure hope so. He has the ability without a doubt. I'll be rooting for him.
