They scored a lot of goals lsat year and no cup, goals scored aren't the problem. To get either guy you mentioned there would have to be players going the other way, who are trading?
One year puck moving Dman for a reasonable price. MAB is a question mark. They need some bodies to hold the fort until Maz is back. Not liking some of the possible solutions out their. I'd ty to compensate the Islanders fo Visnovsky, maybe a 2 and 5, but not sure that would do it. - jstross
I understand where you are coming from, but I don't think CC can be counted on to stay healthy. He sure hasn't remained healthy in recent years.
I would be interested in Visnovsky, but I'm not sure what is going on with him.
Just two weeks ago it was conceivable that Weber would be spearheading this blueline for the next decade+ not only did that go by the board, but of course after the kick to the nuts with Weber had to come the Mezsaros injury making the situation worse. Truly amazing. It's really getting old.

Your making a valiant effort, but it is a futile endeavor!

Scoring goals isn't this teams problem, preventing them is.

HOW? - 2Real
They still have a pretty good top 4. Schenn, Schenn, Couturier, Read, Simmonds, Bourdon, Manning, Gusty, and Giroux are all one year better. And Bryzgalov will be better. That is how. Will they get 103 points? I have no idea. But except for the Rangers, no team has gotten markedly better in the conference. And even the Rangers traded some defense for offense.
And I know...How could Bryzgalov possibly play anything like he has most of his career because he stunk it up so bad the first half of one season with a new team in a new conference.....I know I know, he will never be better...EVER.
whoever skates on it? what does it matter when you're on offense all the time - 2Real
Again with your logic. How did all of he offense work against the Devils. So if they got Nash, they would never lose the puck? Is he playing the whole game and are they just skating one line.
I must be dense or something, so please explain how this would work.

1. Timonen is aging
2. Coburn isn't anything special
3. Grossman won't put up points
4. Schenn is young and inexperienced
Just cause those players are one year better doesn't mean anything. JVR and Carter got one year and one year better and they turned out to be busts (was right about that as usual)
I saw nothing from any of those players (the young ones) that showed they could carry the team. So, how do we replace what we lost to keep us a competitive team. We couldn't even beat the devils int he playoffs.

All we have to do is get in as the kings did hell even like we did and that's how it usually work very rarely does the best team win the cup so let's leave it at that
